Families and children are welcome; children typically enjoy running around and playing in our abundant green space - even during service! We really enjoy holding our services outside when the weather allows it, and our style of worship typically includes contemplative silence, corporate prayer, Scripture reading, a bilingual homily, and diverse, refreshing worship music.

Our practices (or disciplines) often include prayer, contemplative silence, and study. Many in our community also enjoy other spiritual practices, like yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation

Our practices (or disciplines) often include prayer, contemplative silence, and study. Many in our community also enjoy other spiritual practices, like yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation, and others. There are often regular times each week to participate in these practices together as well as other support opportunities. Check out our community calendar below.
El viaje interior. Nuestra comunidad eleva a la practica espiritual por encima del dogma religioso. Honramos al camino espirtual de cada uno como sagrado. Nuestras practicas (o diciplinas) incluyen la oracion, silencio, contemplativo, y estudiar. The outward journey. Our church was founded in 1954 as an intentionally diverse, deeply devoted (covenant) community of faith that strives to ease the suffering of the world around us. We often attempt to do this through Mission Groups. Our church's current Mission Groups are The Haven (addiction recovery), The Unity Mission Group, and the Racial Justice Mission Group. Additional current support activities & opportunities on site include Immigration Support Network, Refuge's LGBTQ & Allies Group, The Food Pantry, & Common Grounds Cafe.
